Our business almost never has routine shipments. We are a speciality equipment parts supply distributor servicing customers from all over the world. Over half of our customers are in hard to find long distance locations. And as a whole most needs are urgent. I came to this company about a year ago. After being in the distribution business for 16 years I was sure it would be routine. The day I started I was told deadlines were unmovable and that is why the position I got was open. I had used Advanced National Transport in the past for my previous employer’s very urgent shipments and decided to give them a call. Rick Solis took a day to drive up here and we discussed this company’s needs. He made several calls to his office and by 4:15 that we had contacts and rate sheets that worked for us. As i said that was about 10 months ago and today all is well.
